Sous Vide Green Beans with Garlic and Cilantro

Ingredients

1 lb green beans, cleaned and trimmed.
1 red bell pepper, cleaned and sliced into strips.
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp back pepper

Instructions
  1. Fill and preheat sous vide cooker at 185°F.
  2. Place green beans and red pepper in quart-size sous vide bag.
  3. In small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into the bag and shake it to evenly coat the beans.
  4. Seal the bag. (Insert the weights if needed.) Submerge it in the water bath for 1 hour
  5. Remove bag from water and empty contents into serving bowl. Garnish with additional cilantro.
