Jack in Costume Hat & Tie

Jack still worked in the garden at probably age 87 here.

When he was eighty-five (late 1972 or early 1973) he fell of a ladder
while working on the house. He broke his back. After that time,
he always wore a back brace. He wears the brace outside his
clothing in this picture. c. 1974 or 75.
