The Pfeiffer Home at Granger, Colorado.
Until we received the picture above, we had wondered if these
old ruins have once been the Pfeiffer home.

Notice the thickness of the stone wall near the doorway. It must have
been at least 3 feet thick. Most of the old buildings in this area were built
into the surrounding terrain for the insulation offered by the soil. This is near
the gravesite which is on the land that was part of the Pfeiffer homestead.

We now know that this ruin is not related to the Pfeiffer Homestead, except as a neighbor.
