The Pfeiffer Homestead
"Going toward Southfork from Del Norte, You turn right on theGranger Road. I can’t remember how far you go toward the river.It sat on the left side of the road after you cross the railroad tracks.There was a white school house when Mom & Aunt Odie went to school.Aunt Velita and Uncle Curnie lived there when I was about 5 or 6. They had turned the school into a house! The old home burned downbefore I was born in ‘21. The house was pretty close to the river.So much history to remember, but a lot of beautiful memories."
