The Three Small Gorges

Time For Us To Take A Break.

Some of us took our lunches to eat on the river bank, some of us chose to stay on the boat. Some of the group took the opportunity to check out the geology of the canyon.

Square Holes In Canyon Wall

To aid travel in the canyon, they cut holes in the canyon walls for support beams, then spread planks along the way to form a walkway above the water on these vertical cliffs.
