This photo was taken from the deck of the Ocean Majesty, our cruise ship. Unfortunately this is the only one we thought to take when we were in the new city of Istanbul.

The multi-story buildings on the hill in the background are typical of the residences that we saw in the city. Most of the apartments are in eight-story buildings. And this is what we saw under construction everywhere in the modern city north of the Golden Horn.
